Sumul Shah, President

Sumul began Lumus Construction, Inc. in 1998. Having worked as an “Owner” on Boston’s Big Dig project, as a subcontractor, and now as a contractor, Sumul brings a wealth of knowledge to this industry. He has studied civil engineering at Brown University, architecture at Harvard University and construction management at MIT.

Brad Eslinger, Chief Financial Officer

Brad has nearly 30 years experience in finance and accounting. He received his BA in Economics from Dickinson College and his MBA from Northeastern University. He was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1980 and spent eight years with one of the “Big 4” CPA forms as a Senior Manager. Since Brad joined Lumus as CFO in 2002, the company has more than tripled in size.

Brad Beisswanger, Business Development

Brad has extensive experience in Navy construction project execution. He has served as a Project Manager/Contract Administrator in a Navy ROICC office as well as the Officer in Charge of a similar Navy contracts office. Brad successfully planned, designed and executed a multi-million dollar base relocation and closure program in his duties as Facilities Department head at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center.

Don Desilets, Northern Division Manager

Don has over 20 years experience in the construction field ranging from project management, coordination of multiple projects, estimating and project supervision. He has worked on several projects with the Navy, Coast Guard and Department of Defense. Don was a working supervisor for Government contracts in Washington DC, Arlington Virginia, West Point NY, Plattsburg NY, and Kittery Maine.

Joseph Currie, Renewable Energy Division Manager

Joseph Currie is responsible for all aspects of construction and cost estimating for wind projects. Joe assigns and evaluates personnel, trains project team members, ensures adequate tools and materials are available at the project site and troubleshoots difficult issues using his many years of trade expertise. Joe has over 20 years experience in the management of electrical and energy projects.

Bill Rogers, Project Manager

Bill was directly involved and has experience as a construction manager for Interstate I-93 section of the “Big Dig” project in Boston. Bill has numerous years experience as a site manager particularly in the fields of foundation construction as well as logistics and rigging planning.
